Biography

Delane Atcitty's agricultural journey began on the Navajo Nation in Arizona. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agri-Business from Oklahoma Panhandle State University and a Master of Science in Ranch Management/Agri-Business from Texas A&M-Kingsville's prestigious King Ranch Institute.

With hands-on experience across all sectors of the cattle industry, Delane has worked in cow/calf operations, stocker management, and feedlot finishing. His expertise extends to bison management for the Nature Conservancy, where he focused on biodiversity and ecosystem sustainability.

As the Executive Director of Indian Nations Conservation Alliance (INCA), Delane has led numerous initiatives, including establishing a tribal conservation youth corps, launching a large-scale virtual fencing project, and developing the INCA Trading Ways app to revitalize traditional tribal trade practices. Through a Climate Smart Grant, he spearheaded efforts to add value to tribal beef products, transitioning them from commodities to premium offerings, and founded the Indigenous Grazing Lands Coalition to support the stewardship of 55 million acres of tribal rangelands.

Delane served on the Board of Directors for Navajo Agricultural Products Industries, a 110,000-acre tribal farm with over 700 irrigation pivots. He played a key role in creating a custom grazing program to enhance the value of tribal cattle and implementing regenerative agriculture practices focused on soil health.

Currently, Delane is leading the development of a Native American branded beef business, collaborating with tribal ranchers to produce grass-finished, low-stress beef raised without hormones or antibiotics, using regenerative agricultural practices. His dedication to sustainable agriculture and tribal food sovereignty continues to drive impactful change across Native communities.

New Trails Beef is a new opportunity for tribal ranchers to market their healthy beef in a large economy of scales and to leverage their tribal resources to accomplish this goal.

We work with progressive tribal ranchers to follow a protocol to ensure trust in our tribally raised beef grown with our pristine resources. This opportunity will take the tribal ranchers form commodity beef price takers to selling their beef in a niche program focused on premiums. This will also reinforce our tribal nations food sovereignty with a vertically integrated fresh protein source.

Join us as we grow this indigenous owned and operated company. We are actively seeking partnerships with tribal investors and tribal enterprises as we scale this product.
